Heavy-duty rigid PVC trunking engineered for split air conditioner installations — snap-fit cover, paintable white finish, complete accessory range, and full UV protection for indoor and outdoor pipe concealment.
Product brief description
Our AC trunking system provides a clean, professional solution for concealing unsightly copper pipes, drain hoses, and electrical cables in split air conditioner installations. Manufactured from high-impact rigid PVC with UV stabilizers, the duct resists yellowing, cracking, and warping under direct sunlight — making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor wall runs. The snap-fit cover design enables fast installation without screws or adhesive, while the full range of fittings (flat elbows, internal/external corners, end caps, couplings) handles any routing requirement. Available in multiple widths to accommodate 1HP through 5HP installations.
Product detailed description
The Last 3 Meters Matter
A split AC installation can be technically flawless — but if the pipe run down the exterior wall looks like a tangled mess, that's all the customer sees. Our trunking turns exposed copper pipes, drain hoses, and cables into a single clean line. One channel, one cover, one professional finish.
Built for Sun, Rain, and Heat
Standard indoor trunking yellows and becomes brittle within months outdoors. Ours doesn't. We formulate the PVC compound with UV stabilizers and impact modifiers so the duct stays white and structurally sound through years of direct sunlight, monsoon rain, and 40°C+ heat. The same trunking works seamlessly from the indoor unit to the outdoor condenser — one product, inside and out.
Snap. Route. Done.
The snap-fit cover design means zero screws, zero adhesive, zero specialty tools. Route the base channel along the wall with the included screws, lay in the pipes and cables, snap the cover on, and you're finished. A single installer can complete a 3-meter vertical wall run in under 10 minutes. When the AC needs servicing, the cover snaps off just as easily for full access.
A Fitting for Every Corner
Straight runs are easy. It's the corners, bends, and wall penetrations that make or break an installation's appearance. Our accessory range covers every scenario:

Q1: Can this trunking be used outdoors?
A: Yes. Our trunking is formulated with UV stabilizers specifically for outdoor exposure. Unlike standard indoor PVC trunking that yellows and cracks within 6–12 months, our compound maintains color fastness ≥ Grade 4 and structural integrity for 5+ years in direct sunlight. It handles -20°C to +70°C without embrittlement or warping.
Q2: Which width do I need for my installation?
A: It depends on the copper tube sizes and whether you're also running a drain hose and electrical cable:
Your Pipe Setup |
Recommended Model |
1/4"+3/8" + drain hose |
RB-ACT-5070 (50×70 mm) |
1/4"+1/2" + drain hose |
RB-ACT-6070 (60×70 mm) |
1/4"+1/2" + drain hose + cable |
RB-ACT-7070 (70×70 mm) |
3/8"+5/8" + drain hose + cable |
RB-ACT-8080 (80×80 mm) |
3/8"+3/4" + drain hose + dual cable |
RB-ACT-10080 (100×80 mm) |
When in doubt, go one size up — extra internal space makes routing easier and looks no different from the outside.
Q3: Do I need special tools to install the trunking?
A: No. The snap-fit cover requires no screws, no glue, and no specialty tools. You only need a saw to cut the base and cover to length, a screwdriver or drill for the wall mounting screws, and a measuring tape. The cover presses onto the base channel by hand and snaps into place with an audible click.
Q4: Can I paint the trunking to match my wall color?
A: Yes. The PVC surface accepts both water-based and solvent-based exterior paints. Lightly sand the surface with fine-grit sandpaper (400–600 grit) for best adhesion, wipe clean, and apply. Do not paint the snap-fit locking edge, as paint buildup may affect the snap mechanism.
Q5: How do I handle corners and bends in the pipe run?
A: Use the matching fittings — flat elbows for horizontal turns along a wall, internal corners for room corners, and external corners for pillar edges. Each fitting snaps onto the trunking base in the same way as the straight cover. No miter cuts or sealant required. For non-standard angles, the PVC can be cut with a fine-tooth saw and joined with our coupling piece.
Q6: Is the trunking fire-rated?
A: Yes. Our PVC compound meets UL94 V-0 self-extinguishing standards — the material stops burning within 10 seconds after the flame source is removed. This is the highest rating under the UL94 vertical burn test and is accepted by most residential and commercial building codes for surface-mounted cable containment.
