Recently, a special outdoor team-building event themed “Fearless Warriors, Chase the Dream Together” was held at Xueye Lake. This 13-km circular-lake hiking challenge was designed to move beyond ordinary outdoor walking, delivering a physical and mental expedition for every team member. The one-lake, multi-scenery route encouraged employees to step away from urban hustle, push personal boundaries amid natural landscapes, and blend nature’s healing power with teamwork spirit for inner exploration and collective growth.
Many colleagues used to treat team-building as casual recreational outings. This activity reshaped that understanding from the start. Organizers adopted a well-designed four-stage growth model: Discovery, Challenge, Breakthrough and Transcendence. Each phase carried distinct goals to guide participants through self-reflection and team transformation along the trail.

In the Discovery phase, opening ice-breaking games, warm-up sessions and team-show activities awakened individual original aspirations and built deep interpersonal bonds. Participants reconnected with themselves, teammates and nature. Clear safety briefings and role division for team leaders and safety officers laid solid trust foundations before the long march began.
When moving into the Challenge stage, physical tiredness gradually set in. Muscle soreness, mental monotony and inner self-doubt became real obstacles rather than just scenic sightseeing. Long-distance walking tested both physical endurance and psychological resilience. Some teammates felt the urge to give up; at such moments, peer encouragement, shared supplies and mutual coordination demonstrated how teams could pull through adversities side-by-side.
Next came Breakthrough, where body limits collided with willpower. Pushing past comfort zones, individuals tore off self-imposed “cannot-do” labels and rebuilt self-confidence. The team stuck to the principle of “leaving no-one behind”. Mutual support turned lonely struggle into warm collective advance. Reaching the finishing point at Snow Lake Garden Hotel marked not merely the end of a route, but a milestone of personal courage.

The final phase, Transcendence, taught everyone that the hiking finish line was only a new starting-point for mental elevation. Experience gained from the trail was internalized as lasting spiritual wealth. Participants learned to handle pressure and uncertainties with composure. The tacit understanding forged on the lakeside path was expected to transfer into daily workflows, empowering corporate culture with stronger cohesion and shared beliefs.
The whole journey followed Xueye Lake’s rainbow greenway. The flat lakeside trail offered open water views as teams passed hotels and resort sites along north, east and south lake shores. After completing the full 13-km trek, the group enjoyed group dining, free leisure time before heading back with fruitful memories.

This outdoor practice illustrated two core truths: true victory lies in overcoming inner timidity rather than beating others, and “if you want to go fast, go alone; if you want to go far, go together”. Perseverance step-by-step unlocks views unavailable to those who quit halfway. Insights harvested from the hike would inspire staff to embrace future work challenges with bravery and persistence.
Well-organized experiential team-building builds intangible corporate competitiveness. This activity delivered no empty formalities. It cultivated genuine mutual respect among members, improved cross-department collaboration, and consolidated trust for long-term business development.
